Eligibility, what you get, and how to register — everything you need to join the community.
Eligibility requirements
All applicants must meet the following before submission.
Active scholar status
Currently enrolled or recently graduated (within 24 months) from an accredited Italian university — undergraduate, master's, PhD or postdoc.
Nigerian heritage
Nigerian by nationality, descent, or strong cultural affiliation. Allies committed to the community are welcome to apply as associate members.
Code of conduct
Commit to NiSIT's values — respect, integrity, mentorship and zero tolerance for harassment or discrimination.
Community contribution
Willingness to participate in events, share opportunities, and support fellow scholars where possible.
What you'll need to register
- Valid email address and phone number
- Italian university name, city, degree level and discipline
- Year of study and expected graduation
- A short bio (max 300 characters)
- Profile photo (optional but recommended)
- Acceptance of the NiSIT code of conduct
